I've taken a lot of twists and turns
1.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in social sciences.
2.
After graduating from college, I went into information technology and telecommunications.
3.
I spent 15 years working in sales and operations for AT&T.
4.
While working for AT&T, the company paid for me to go back to grad school and earn my MBA in marketing.
5.
My company ultimately got acquired and I lost my job—at that point, I reevaluated my career and what I wanted to do.
6.
I went back to school, got my teaching credential, and then got a job as a high school career and technical education teacher.
7.
I spent 11 years as a teacher and then decided it was time for the next chapter.
8.
I transitioned into education technology, which is a great combination of both my business and education backgrounds.

I lost my job when the company I was working for was acquired. I was blindsided and devastated. However, it gave me the opportunity to reflect and decide where I wanted to go next and what I wanted to do.
